So today began my training! YAY! I admit I didn't do too much and I probably could have done more or pushed myself a little harder but that will come I guess I was just trying to ease into things. So as day 1 of training began I ran 1 mile! We have an indoor track so 10 laps=1mile. I walked 2 of these laps and ran the rest. Looking back on things I could have ran all 10 and I don't know why I didn't. Oh well hindsight is 20/20. I'm also trying to eat a little healthier I need to work on that though and drink more water!
After I ran my mile that took me around 12 minutes, but not really going for speed here at first, I did a little shoulders. Needless to say I am a little sore right now but the thing I like about feeling sore the next day or a few hours later is that I know I did something because I can feel it. See you all tomorrow, kind of? It's a rest day tomorrow so I'm going to work on the diet and drinking lots of water!
