Here We Go!

So basicallly this blog is an accountability tool for me to track my progress of training to run my first 5K! I know 3.1 miles doesn't seem like that much but it is since I don't run, and have never ran competitively in my life. I consider myself to be in sort of shape, not over weight or anything like that, but I believe running is a different challenge. A mental and physical challenge! I'm going to be using the gym at the university to go to since we have a nice indoor track. I will also be tracking my food intake on here daily along with my training schedule. I can't wait to let you all into my journey and hope you can keep me accountable! The race that I want to do is on April 27 so I will be counting down the days!
